JW Marriott: A Global Study in Luxury
Amsterdam’s premier advertising agency, Monks (Media.Monks), partnered with Brother Brother to direct and produce a high-impact commercial for JW Marriott. Entrusted with both creative direction and end-to-end production, we were tasked with translating the brand's signature "Mindful Presence" into a cinematic visual journey.
The Creative Vision Director Haroun breathed life into the agency’s storyboard, infusing the concept with his signature premium aesthetic and a distinct sense of luxury. By focusing on sensory details and the "air of the place," we elevated the narrative from a standard hotel promo to a poetic brand film that resonates with the sophisticated traveler.
Agile Global Production Operating with a condensed pre-production window of only two weeks, our team demonstrated exceptional logistical agility. We simultaneously activated production units in Crete and Dubai, led by DOP Diego Gardo. This dual-location shoot required meticulous coordination to ensure visual consistency across drastically different environments, from the Mediterranean coast to the architectural modernism of the UAE.
Strategic Deliverables The project resulted in a suite of high-fidelity assets tailored for global distribution, including cinematic masters for online platforms and specialized social cuts designed for cross-channel engagement.
